Dino Tie

Hello all,
We have have had a busy summer. I finished my school and have spent some time just relaxing. Hunter is still working, the nice summer has not helped his business much. He has stayed busy all summer, so that is all we can ask for.

Tucker has been.... 3. It has been a fun summer with him talking and showing his strong wiled personality more.we are in the "why" stage right now. Everything is "but why?" Some times fun, sometimes.... He moved into a preschool class this week. He could have moved at the beginning of the summer, but I wanted him to be with a certain teacher so he waited until she had room in her class. He is doing great and loves the new work he gets to do. He is so smart and full of energy. He can count for 1-20 in English and 1-10 in Spanish. He can identify about half of the alphabet and in the store when we are picking fruit he wants ten of everything. I don't know why 10, but that is his fav. number right now. We had to walk out of the store one day with him yelling that he wanted 10 lemons, I only needed two and he knows the difference. He loves to dance sing the move it move it song (Madagascar) and Who let the dogs out. He loves dinosaurs! He can name the dinosaurs and can tell you the difference between a brontosaurs and a brackisaurs (he says a broccliesaurs).

Kathy sent him a new tie a few weeks ago and I had to post some pictures .He is in an Elvis smile stage. he needs a hair cut too. I love my little gappy toothed child, what a blessing!

Tucker

Tucker has been so funny lately. Last weekend we had a few adventures. First while Hunter was in Priesthood session of conf. I wen tot the store. I looked back at Tucker about half way to the store and noticed that he didn't have his shoes on. Not a big deal, he likes to take his shoes off in the car. When I got to the store I went around to look for his shoes on the floor of the car, but there were no shoes. I asked him where his shoes were and he told be that they were "bye bye" If you guesses that he threw them out the window of the car, you would be right. Luckily we were close to Moms' when he did it and we found them. The next day during conf. they were saying the closing prayer of afternoon session on Sunday he came in crying "ducky bye bye. " Hunter went it to the bathroom where he was pointing and yup, he flushed a little rubber ducky down the toilet. Two and a half hours later, one wax seal and the garden hose with a high pressure nozzle on it later the duck was recovered.

We are so blessed to have him in out lives. I told him on Easter that he looked cute in this new outfit (I need to take some pictures, he got dirty before I could take pictures) he looked at me and said "not cute, cool." He is such a funny boy!

Easter Part 1

I am sorry that I have not put pictures up in a while. We have had a lot of fun stuff going on, just not a lot of time. So this is Easter from this morning. We got up and Tucker came out, saw his basket and ran to the table. He got the movie Madagascar, he loves it! He calls it the move it move it movie. He also got a car, some cars tattoos, some I spy books(he loves to find the pictures in the books) ans some candy.

After the basket we have not had a chance to dye eggs so we did that tis morning. I read someplace about putting stickers on the eggs and then dying them and that it looked really cool. I will have to go back and look againg at the idea because the stickers that we have didn't really work. Tucker had fun sticking them all over his body!

Yesterday we went on an egg hunt at the lake. Tucker knew that there was candy in the eggs and he kept picking up the eggs, opening them and they trying to eat the candy. He eventualy figured out that he could keep the candy and that he just needed to pick up the eggs and put them in his bucket.

So my Mom has been telling me that I need to get pictures of myself and Tucker. Most of the time I am the one taking the pictures. So here you go Mom. I changed the color so you can't see that all of my makeup rubbed off, I had an early meeting. We have Stake Conf. this weekend and I had an early saturday morning meeting.

We will get more pictures up later today, I also have some fun stories to tell about last weekend. Tucker is so fun and we are so blessed to have him in our lives.

My Shoes

Tucker loves my shoes. I think he likes the noise that they make on the floor. Most of the time that he is in my shoes he is in his underwear. I think that this is blackmail for later in life.
"Tucker you need to..... or I will show your friends 'the pictures.' "

Saturday

Sorry we have been out of touch for so long. I have been crazy with school and I am ready to be finished so I can have more time at home. Saturday mornings Tucker normally wakes up around 7:00-7:30 and we lay in bed, talk and play. Normally Tucker runs in and out of our room getting toys and books to play with in our bed .Yesterday we were doing out normal morning and Tucker came and and had red stuff all over his legs, we were both worried that he hurt himself and that it was blood. We were wrong, when we looked closer we discovered that it was not blood but it was lipstick. He had taken some lipstick that I had thrown away and painted the wall with it. Sp we started our Saturday by having Tucker scrub lipstick off the wall, I am glad that we still have to paint that room.

After our morning we went to the store, on the way there was a fruit stand that was selling these really great oranges so we stopped and got some, Tucker loves them. They are huge and he really likes to suck out all of the juice and leave the rest of the orange, he is so funny!


I will try to post more pictures later today, I need a nap now. I hate daylight savings time.

We are a diaper free home

Yes you have read it right, we are a diaper free home. Tucker asked for cars underwear a few weeks ago and we told him that as soon as he pooped on the potty we would go get him cars underwear. That night he pooped on the potty(Monday) we went on Wednesday to get the cars underwear and he has only had two accidents. About a week later he got really mad at school because he didn't want to wear a diaper at nap and that same night he didn't want to wear a diaper to bed so we decided to try. He had been dry for the last few days after nap and overnight so we waited for the weekend and decided to try for nap and overnight. He didn't have an accident at all! So this week we have been a whole week with no accidents. It is wonderful!!!!

Sorry that has been our exciting news for the last few weeks. I will get more pictures up as soon as I can, sorry with work, school and church I have not had a lot of time.

Marshmallow Bow

Hello all!
Sorry it has taken me so long to post again. We all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Hunter asked for cash for a bow. My Mom decided that if Hunter was going to get a bow, Tucker needed one too. Tuckers bow shoots marshmallows, he loves it! We have made the bow and outside toy, Pepper dosen't like to eat marshmallows and I got tired of cleaning them up. :)

The bow is kinda big for him so he holds it more like a cross bow.
